Free download: Photoshop beads brushes

A year ago, I was creating a web site for a beads reseller.
Believe it or not, I took some 1000+ photos of various beads, until, at some point my client disappeared. Do I need to mention that I was only payed 20% of the agreed price for the job?!

Anyways, let’s leave the past to the past and see what we can do with the beads that were left at my studio. For instance, they could be used to … say … create some Photoshop brushes! Now, what do you know :))

OK. Enough with the talking - hereby I present you a set of 20 high-res beads brushes! Ta-daaa!

Tutorial: How to create a shiny Web 2.0 button in Illustrator

Easy :)
First, draw a circle (using Shift tab) and fill it with radial gradient like this:

Now, copy that circle, paste it on the top of the first one and make it smaller. Rotate the gradient fill in that smaller circle for 180 degree. This will create a “shining” effect.

Make another circle resize it to make it smaller than the one we did just now. Fill it in using simple radial gradient fill.

Now make the fourth (this is the last one) circle that’s smaller than third one and use Pen tool to create a shape that will look like this: (select the bottom anchor point and simply delete it).
