Guys, I’m in a dilemma. After spending some time working on the re-design of this blog I came up with two versions.

Version with header and logo (the one you are looking at right now)
Version without header and logo (brand new approach, click on the thumbnail below to enlarge)

Which one is better?

Well, I am just a cat, so you can take my opinion with a grain of, er, catnip. But I like the one with the header and logo. The colors are really vivid and pretty without being garish. That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it.

I think you have to stick with the header. Otherwise, the design does not project any real sense of identity when you first hit the page.

I also like the header and logo. I think sites need to be branded and the header makes your site a little more unique. I also think that not having the header is a little too plain.

I guess it’s unanimous so far. You’ve got branding and the color sceme is attractive.
