Lightworks Graphic – How it’s Done

So, I tried to make this tutorial as detailed as possible, but wanted to keep it simple at the same time. Not quite sure if I succeeded but that’s where you come in. Leave some feedback as I aim to make perfect tutorials – eventually :)

First thing we do, of course, is start a new document. For this excercise I created on of 450px by 450px.

Next thing we need to do is load the brushes. If the Brushes pallete is not displayed on your screen press F5. Now click on the small black arrow on the top right-hand side of the Brushes palette and select “Load Brushes”.

Select lightworks_ver7.abr and click “Load”. (This brushes set can be purchased at my shop)

Now, let’s create three layers like it’s shown below.

on the bottom layer create a radial gradient, something like this (make sure the radiant gradient tool is selected like in the blue circle):

Select the layer above the one on the bottom and create another gradient, so that it looks like this:

Finally, add brush to the top layer. Select any of the brushes, move your cursor over the image and play with the brush size using “[" and "]” keys. Use “Normal” blendig mode, and for the color of the brush – make it white. This is already some interesting result :)
