Winter in my backyard and Photoshop brushes

And now, the time has come. With this first snow I will take my trusty camera for a walk in my backyard.

It is always amazing how snow, while covering the surroundings with it’s white blanket, uncovers at the same time a whole new world, world of nature in sleep. How it emphasizes the reds of apples which still remained there providing food for birds in the cold winter.

Tree, straw, rose, lantern. With the first snow they all got a whole new meaning, they now play a whole different role in their new costumes and the whole scenery is turned into a surreal theater of white silence. Life in a deep sleep.

So, I took the liberty of recording some of the scenery with my camera. I liked the photos a lot but I just had to add this final touch with graphical decorations to “round it up” and convey the message of the moment. I hope I managed – at least a little bit.

Anyways, I hope you will like the graphics (these are not just photos any more) and I also added the names of the brushes used on each of today’s images.
