Free Graphic Design Resources: A Goldmine for Creatives

I’ve been writing a lot about digital scrapbooking and offering free resources, but let’s talk about something that every designer, hobbyist, or even newbie needs – Free Graphic Design Resources! Are there any? Oh, absolutely!

If you’re like me, you’re always on the hunt for high-quality free resources that make designing faster, easier, and way more fun. Whether you’re working on a personal project, a client gig, or just experimenting, the internet is packed with fantastic freebies. But, let’s be real – some free resources are amazing, while others… not so much.

So, where do you find the good stuff? Let me share with you my top seven favorite websites for free graphic design resources.

DesignBundles.com – Exclusive Freebies Every Week

1. DesignBundles.com – Exclusive Freebies Every Week

If you’re looking for premium-quality free graphic design resources, then DesignBundles.com should be your first stop. They offer an ever-changing selection of free fonts, SVG files, mockups, templates, and more.

What I love most? Their freebies are commercial-use friendly (check the license just in case!), meaning you can use them in client projects too. Plus, they often have discounted design bundles, which means you can grab premium assets for a fraction of the price. Definitely worth bookmarking!

2. Freepik – Endless Free Vectors and PSDs

Freepik is a goldmine for vector graphics, icons, and Photoshop files. Their free resources are excellent for everything from website graphics to social media posts. They do have a premium option, but their free selection is already vast.

Just one tip: If you use Freepik’s free resources, you need to credit the author, unless you go for the premium plan.

3. Unsplash – Stunning Free Stock Photos

Let’s be honest – no design is complete without a stunning high-quality image. That’s where Unsplash comes in! This website offers high-resolution, royalty-free images that you can use in social media, web design, print projects, and more – without needing to worry about licensing.

And the best part? No weird, staged stock photo vibes. The images are modern, artistic, and beautiful!

4. Font Squirrel – Free Fonts That Don’t Suck

Fonts can make or break a design, and finding great free fonts can be a challenge. Font Squirrel is my go-to because all of their fonts are high-quality and 100% free for commercial use.

Pro tip: Before downloading, always check if a font comes with a webfont version if you plan to use it for websites.

Pixel Surplus – Fonts, Mockups, and More

5. Pixel Surplus – Fonts, Mockups, and More

Speaking of fonts, another fantastic site is Pixel Surplus. They offer free fonts, templates, textures, and mockups that work perfectly for branding projects, social media graphics, and more.

They also have a huge collection of hand-lettered and script fonts, which is perfect if you love that handwritten aesthetic.

6. Canva – Drag and Drop Design Magic

If you’re a beginner or just need quick, beautiful designs, Canva is a lifesaver. While they do have a paid Pro version, their free plan gives access to thousands of templates, icons, fonts, and even some stock photos.

Canva is super user-friendly, making it perfect for both experienced designers and total beginners.

7. Vecteezy – Free Vectors for Every Project

Vectors are essential for logos, illustrations, and website graphics, and Vecteezy offers a huge collection of free vector resources. The best part? No sign-up needed, and they even have some AI-generated illustrations for something a little different.

Like Freepik, some of their resources require attribution if you’re using the free version, but it’s a small price to pay for high-quality vectors.
