Hi!
I hope you like the image above. It is about, well, travel. It’s about time we all have and it’s about uncertainty and change.
I wake up every day at 6:35AM (like many of you I’m sure), I go to work (by train) and I come back home somewhere around the same hour – PM.
So, last Friday, I felt compelled to take a photo of my train station. iPhone was all I had at hand at the moment, so I used it. Image taken with plain iPhone camera looked dull, so I took another shot. With Hipstamatic application – this time.
And, just this afternoon, while syncing my iPhone with a PC I ran into that image again and I just felt: “This one has potential.”
Well, not much is left to say. I used some of my beloved bsilvia brushes and after a bit of playing (with some great music in the background) I got this graphic.
I hope you like it.
Anyways, in case you were wondering what brushes were used – it’s in the image above.
Personally, I liked this graphic a lot. Actually, I liked it so much that I was sorry for making it just in 72dpi. If I made it bigger I could have used it for a desktop wallpaper, or even print it out, frame it and put it on the wall.
I don’t know. I believe there is a creative soul living in all of us, it’s just that sometimes we need a little push. So Silvia’s brushes are my push. OK. I am a bit privileged as I don’t have to pay for Premium content, but then again, I earn them by washing dishes 🙂
Anyways, I hope you like the image, maybe some of you recognized yourselves in it and if so: I know how you feel 🙂
Here is what was used for the graphic:
Retro and Grungy Swirled Edges Photoshop Brushes
Snail Mail Photoshop Brushes
So. For those of you who liked this graphic, but generally lack self confidence to try and do something by yourselves, let me tell you – it’s inside you. I use this little push by bsilvia’s Photoshop brushes to help me get it out, you can do the same (or you don’t have to ) but if I can do it – you can do so too.
Darijan
P.S.
I enjoyed doing this graphic so much that I strongly believe I will do another one very soon. This time in higher resolution so I can print it out and put on the wall for my friends and family to see it 🙂

Love it! =)
i traveled from my city to my mum’s town for 15 years (or was it even more) with the train every other weekend … friday there, sunday back … and oddly enough i still like to travel with the train, just not THAT route! 😀 … you captured the feeling of traveling perfectly, with the right weather and light! and bsilvia’s brushes bring the best artist in me as i can be, too!
Thanks Mojca! Although I travel to work by train, I enjoy it. I just enjoy traveling by train, watching the fields pass by, roads, houses, cows … much more fun than driving a car.
