For many centuries Roses have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists from all around the world. In classical Egypt, for instance, we will find that roses were sacred to a number of Egyptian goddesses, this continued in ancient Greece and Rome who identified rose with the goddess of love. It was a topic and theme explored by artists from ancient times, through middle ages and the modern era today.

Yes, ladies and gentleman, the time has come for me to re-visit this beautiful flower and even more beautiful symbol, to make my own drawings of it and create a brand new Photoshop brushes set called simply
