Embracing Change: The Evolution of My Shop
Change is the only constant, and my Etsy shop is no exception. Last month, I had to cancel my subscription to Etsy and Etsy Pattern as it was no longer profitable. Despite opening my Etsy shop way back in 2007 and intensively using it since 2017, the changing market dynamics have necessitated this decision.
Navigating the Future: AI and Small Businesses
Yes, everything is changing. AI image generators are slowly taking over the market. However, people who urgently need elements for digital scrapbooking or even graphic design won’t bother too much with AI image generators. There will still be a market, but it will be very small and hard to break into.
Despite everything, I remain optimistic. I believe (or perhaps better to say, I hope) that people will continue to support each other in small businesses. Maybe the new and improved tools will bring a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for creation, action, and participation. Who knows? The future is becoming harder and harder to predict.
