Christmas is coming and we just can’t have enough of these little helpers which we need to make creative Christmas graphics. In this post, my dear GBG-ers, and visitors, I present you a brand new
Photoshop brushes set + transparent PNG files
Christmas Photo Masks
As you probably guessed, the image above (yes, that’s Mirta:)) was made with this set. So, if you’re interested in making similar effects – keep on reading.
Christmas Photo Masks set contains 16 brushes:
– 4 brushes in two sizes (total of 8 brushes) and
– 4 inverted (black-white inversion) in two sizes (total of 8 brushes).
So there are 16 free Photoshop brushes in this set.
Also, down below you will find the download link to 4 PNG files in 3600×3600 pixels size at 300dpi. Perfect for printing in any format!

So, here is a short FAQ on the Christmas Graphics Competition
1. What I need to do?
- You need to make Christmas graphics. One, two, tree… well, not more than three submissions please. It can be Christmas card, Christmas Party Invitation, Gift tag, Scrapbook cover… or any other graphic applied to paper or web or video any other media, like mug, or shirt … does’t matter.
- The only condition is to use at least one of the free graphics available for download on Graphics-Illustrations.Com (Hint: FREE LITE Christmas Photoshop brushes set, FREE LITE Grunge Snowflakes Photoshop brushes set, FREE LITE Snowy Skies Photoshop brushes set, FREE LITE Christmas Trees Photoshop brushes set FREE LITE Grunge Stars Photoshop brushes set…).
2. What size and format should the graphic be?
- It can be any size up to width 530px and height 795px, jpg or png format
3. What’s in it for me?
- You’re going to have fun doing it
- Lots of people will see your work
- I still haven’t think of any prizes but it will probably be something from my Shop or mug or something like this
- You will have as much fun as I have doing free stuff for you guys 🙂
- You will use your work for your own projects as well
- You might even start making new projects based on what you did for this competition
- Anyways, you should have fun doing it and sharing with the rest of us

First, I would like to thank you for all the wonderful brushes you give away so freely. I am on an extremely tight budget and this is one of the greatest gifts I can get. Again, thank you.
I do have a question on the .png photo masks. I use PSE 7 and Windows Vista. I only know how to clip the mask by hovering between layers while holding down the ‘alt’ key or by hitting control g. Neither of these work for me. Can/Will you give me any tips on how to get the picture to conform to the shape? Thanks so much.
