Look what I’ve found! Totally cool site (no, they did not pay me a dime to say this :)) where you can upload your image (or play with some of their images) and apply totally cool retro and vintage effects on it.

I tell you I had fun with some of my images there, and down below there is one example.

It would be totally great if this application offered some Photoshop brushes too!

So, if you want to have some fun with your photos I can totally recommend: Pixlr-o-matic

And when you save the photo, it also states which effect did you apply so you can repeat it without looking for it again.

So, what I did, I played a little with one of the images I had. This is my friend Martina.

Now, as you can notice, a few brushes would really make a difference, so I added some for the decoration and the final image looks like this:

And for the brushes, in this example I used:

Hearts Photoshop Brushes Set (32) (part of  a Valentine’s Hearts Photoshop Brushes set)

Now, what is really cool about this site is that you don’t have to know how to use Photoshop or any other photo editing tool for that matter. So, if you are a Photographer or Scrapbooker, you will just upload the image and save the version you like the most.

Then, if you want to decorate it a bit, you will have to :

1. load it into Photoshop,
2. Press F5 to bring the Photoshop brushes window,
3. press “B” to activate the Brush tool,
4. drag, drop and adjust the brush on the image

and – voila! You have a brand new creation on your desk!
All done in five minutes!
