As most of my old readers already know, it happens to me, from time to time, that I issue a newsletter. Noone knows what exactly why I do this. Some of you might think that I make money with it. Well, initially, 9 years ago when I started this blog, I have to admit, I was hoping I could make a living with it. And having a newsletter was kinda “must” (and it still is) for anyone who wants to earn from their creations on Internet.
After a bit of a setback with a hacking incident that led to the loss of my website and newsletter, I’m now channeling all that energy into providing content right here, for both free and premium members.
But, for me, the newsletter and the blog have not been profitable for a long time. Why? Well, first of all, Internet is flooded, nowadays, with free design elements, there is a huge competition between artists and the name of the game is “Who will give away more. For free.” So, it is definitely not my cup of tea any more.
So, why do I do it? I can’t really pin-point the “one reason”. Maybe it’s a habit? I’ve done it for so many years that I have problems letting go. Maybe I want to reach out to you guys, just send out some kind of message. I don’t know. I do know that I enjoy doing it. So that may be one of the reasons … well, anyways, to cut the long story short, it happened again.
In this one I gave away one of my latest Watercolor tulips clip art. Now it is available for free to all. Feel free do use it any way you like.
It is a pack of 25 hand made watercolor tulips clip art!
Oh! And by the way. My hubby had a birthday few days ago. He is a Scorpio, obviously. So, I made a little present for him using The Colossal Bundle from InkyDeals. Of course, it needed a bit of modification but it it was a quick and easy mod.
Scorpio 1968. T-Shirt was on Redbubble 🙂
There you go!
Love you all,
Silvia
