Ok. So, where do I start?
I guess I’d like to start on self-esteem?
Because I was reading this book (Made to Stick by Chip and Dan Heath).
And at one point it mentioned the Maslow’s Pyramid (If you haven’t heard of Maslows Pyramide here is a brief summary. Quite interesting.) Now, if you look at the top of this pyramid (also known as “Maslow’s hierarchy of needs”) you will notice that on it’s top – self actualization.
One of the main “ingredients” of self-actualization is – creativity. And then they say that one of the most fulfilling activities we can do is – helping others to realize their (creative) potential.
I mean, we are all creative souls, isn’t it?
Yes it is. But, in life, more often than not, we all need a little “push”. And the same goes for self-actualization.
And this is what I’m trying to achieve with my work here on Graphics-Illustrations.Com.
And this is where self-esteem comes in. You see, for many of us, if we fail to produce wanted or expected results quickly, we tend to lose self-esteem. And without self-esteem we can hardly move forward. But if we get a little help, if we get that little extra “push”, it is much more likely that we will produce the desired outcome of out activities.
And once we get results, we get more self-esteem. And the more self-esteem we have, the less “push” we need. And the upward spiral gets going.
So, now, if you are in need of little “extra push” for you Halloween visual design projects (because it is Halloween time after all), here is a little something for you:
Halloween Glitter Overlays Pack
14 HiRes transparent PNG files, 12×12 inches @300dpi (3600x3600px) – gold, silver, pink and orange glitter skulls, spiders, bats!
I hope you will have as much fun using it as I did – creating it. Give it your own “twist” and make cool stuff with it!
Finally, for all GBG members as well as everyone else who subscribed to my newsletter here on Graphics-Illustrations.Com or GreenBulbGang – here comes a special Halloween Edition of GBG eZine with loads of cool downloads, as usual 😁!
Ok. This post is too long already. Love you all, Happy Halloween everybody (which is at least 4 of us so far, Kim, Lisa, Sue and me :)) (if you are not Kim, Lisa, Sue or myself please drop me a line, I’d love to learn if there are more of us here :))
Ok. Love you all! Happy Halloween everyone and as French would say:
